Dear Zebra Pen Corporation,
I am writing you today to inquire about your 0.7mm Sarasa Gel Retractable ink pens. I've been using this particular pen of yours for almost two years now, and I just have to say that it is my most favorite and is the smoothest writing pen out of them all. It's comfortable, well balanced and flows perfectly. I like that when I pull a fresh pen out the box, it has a protective "pen condom" to help keep the roller ball and tip safe from damage. That's how I know it's a fresh pen.
That said, I have one small issue with this pen that I do not like, and I want to share my concern with you. On every individual pen, there is a sticker. It's a silver and black sticker, has barcode on it and it reads "BLACK / NOIRE". The sticky backing to it is strong enough that it's not possible to peel off without leaving a messy residue behind... and in the cases where it does start to come off, that residue is uncomfortable as that portion of the pen rests in the nook between my pointer finger and thumb. Also, the silver and black ink from this sticker rubs off and gets on my hand and shirt pocket.
While I love your pens, I'm not a fan of this sticker. Is it possible to obtain one of your pen bodies without an attached barcode that I can use as my primary pen tube? I've no problem with replacing just the ink cartridge in this pen when I run out, so long as I can have a clean pen tube to use. It's a comfort thing.
Either way, I appreciate the fine product you make. Thank you for all the pens!
