Dear Foster Farms

Dear Foster Farms,

I am writing you today to share my thoughts on your Savory Servings All Natural Zesty Lemon Herb Breast Fillets. While I consume a great deal of your delicious chicken products by way of the California Grown Boneless & Skinless Breast Steaks which I generally season myself in a garlic and herb or lemon based marinade, I was abhorred at the absolute disgust I was faced with upon grilling one of your pre-marinated "savory" breasts fillets.

Your zesty lemon herb fillet tasted the way I'd imagine a partially gnawed on old tire swing would taste if someone squeezed a lemon over it, rubbed it in grass trimmings, and grilled that up for dinner until it was drier than Hell.

My only reason for buying this particular product on this day was that I couldn't find any of my usual boneless and skinless breasts available. Had there been some in stock at my local Vons, this wouldn't have even been an issue... but there it was, the Foster Farms brand, trusted and well-liked by millions, no doubt. The pre-marinated thing was a pretty good selling point, and you sucked me in on that... but I did have my doubts as I looked at it through the clear cellophane wrap. I should've trusted my instincts.

But the thing is... I didn't want to. I wanted to trust that there was still hope for a flavorful, moist and satisfying chicken breast that would be awaiting me come dinnertime.

Way to destroy my favorite meal of the day, Foster Farms. Whoever helped you develop the recipe for your Savory line, I hope they don't work for you anymore.

Disappointed,

Daniel
